We are looking for a driven Finance Assistant to join our Finance Business Partnering team in the Education and Schools Finance department.
Role Overview:
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic finance team, delivering exceptional customer service to schools and Council staff regarding school payments and finance-related inquiries. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Calculating and updating monthly payments to schools using the Council's schools advances system.
  • Conducting financial reconciliations and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Reviewing and following up on monthly and quarterly school finance returns.
  • Collaborating with Council staff and schools to resolve queries.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to enhance processes.
