Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Commercial Finance team within the National Finance Office. This 12-month FTC role supports premium finance business partnering and strengthens relationships with finance partners and stakeholders.

You will coach junior colleagues and contribute to robust financial insight and analysis. You’ll lead on budgeting and forecasting, explain variances, and identify risks and opportunities while maintaining professional communication and driving

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or equivalent accounting experience required.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Business Partners in delivering finance partnering to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and act as a trusted finance contact.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and validating financial assumptions.
• Explain financial information clearly, both in writing and verbally, adapting to audiences.
• Supervise junior team members and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Support continuous improvement and share knowledge across the team.
