Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Finance Business Partnering function within the National Finance Office. The role can be at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level, depending on experience.

You will support delivering premium finance business partnering, build relationships with finance partners and stakeholders, and help provide reliable financial insight and robust analysis to guide decisions. Coaching of junior staff will be a part of the role.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accountancy experience.
• Consultancy/business strategy/professional services experience preferred.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial information into practical insight.
• Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Business Partner(s) in delivering finance business partnering to assigned stakeholders and service areas.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, acting as a trusted and approachable finance contact.
• Work with Finance Business Partner(s) to review financial performance, explain variances, identify risks and opportunities, and agree actions.
• Communicate financial information clearly, professionally and confidently, in writing and verbally.
• Supervise junior colleagues, provide coaching, and set goals with performance feedback.
