Job summary

Veolia is seeking a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant to join our Finance team in Romsey. You will partner with operational management to deliver accurate financial information, produce monthly management accounts, and manage forecasts, budgets and long-term planning.

The role is hybrid, based mainly in Romsey with occasional travel to regional depots. You will be involved in capital expenditure control and KPI analyses, contributing to Veolia's ecological transformation mission.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with relevant experience.
• Business partnering experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel).
• Broad system skills; Workday desirable but not required.
• Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to the Industrial Services business unit from Romsey office.
• Produce monthly management accounts and finance analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and checklists.
• Forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plan with Operations Managers & Directors.
• Control and report capital expenditure and KPIs.
• Conduct post-investment financial reviews and long-term performance analysis.
• Handle other ad hoc finance duties as required.
