Job summary

Veolia is seeking a fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant to lead financial reporting across the Hertfordshire region. You will partner with operational management in a hybrid role, delivering monthly accounts, forecasts, and capital expenditure analysis.

Expect collaborative work with the General Manager and Finance Manager, with occasional travel to other depots. The role offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 with car allowance, a generous bonus scheme and enhanced pension, plus extensive

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA with previous relevant experience.
• Previous experience in business partnering preferable.
• Good working knowledge of spreadsheets.
• Broad system skills preferably with Workday and SAP.
• Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.
• Strategic planning and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts.
• Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and certifications to audit standards.
• Forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plan in collaboration with management.
• Control and reporting of capital expenditure.
• Financial analysis of operational data and KPIs.
• Post investment financial review and long-term performance analysis.
• Work with clients on contract performance and changes in service.
