Premier Foods is recruiting for an Operations Risk & Reporting Manager in Manchester. You will lead a specialist team focusing on governance, risk, and reporting across Financial Operations, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The role emphasizes robust controls, regulatory compliance and insightful financial reporting.

You will collaborate with Finance, Commercial and PBS leaders to drive performance, support transformation programs and embed risk management across the function.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Financial Operations and Shared Services.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in credit risk management and customer onboarding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a specialist team responsible for risk management, governance, reporting and operational insight.
• Define and implement risk, governance and control frameworks across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Oversee financial controls, compliance with policies, regulations and audit requirements.
• Own customer onboarding and credit risk processes with due diligence and policy adherence.
• Drive proactive risk management, identify emerging risks and mitigation actions.
• Lead internal and external audit activities and remediation.
• Develop meaningful reporting on cash collection, debt, working capital and credit risk.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for PBS leadership.
