Job summary

Tillo is seeking a Finance Operations Assistant / Credit Controller (6-month FTC) based in our Hove office, to join a high-performing finance team. You will manage accounts receivable, drive collections, and support improvements and automation while ensuring accurate reconciliations.

The role involves onboarding new retailers, suppliers, and customers, coordinating with Operations, Account Management, and Commercial teams, and contributing to robust financial controls as we implement our new ERP

Qualifications

• Experience with financial reconciliation and ledger management.
• Proven track record of process improvement to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to build supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large data sets.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal/external teams.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage credit control and collections activities.
• Partner with Operations to onboard retailers, suppliers, and customers.
• Administer end-to-end collections via GoCardless and resolve failed collections.
• Work with Account Management and Commercial teams to minimise overdue balances.
• Drive credit control process improvements and automation aligned with ERP.
• Collaborate with wider finance team to uphold best credit control practices.
• Support weekly/monthly reconciliations and self-billing processes.
