Job summary

Tillo is seeking an early-career Finance Assistant to join a fast-growing FinTech business backed by private equity. You will own core finance processes, reconcile multi-currency transactions, and deliver accurate invoicing and ledgers across several entities.

Based in Hove with a hybrid model (2 days in-office), you’ll partner with customers, suppliers and internal teams, contributing to month-end closes and audits while improving workflows with a modern AI-enabled finance function.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a transactional finance team
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with cloud-based financial systems
• Sharp eye for detail and ability to investigate discrepancies
• Well-organised and deadline-driven with a proactive approach
• Experience with reconciliations and resolving balance sheet variances
• Experience with month-end close and supporting schedules
• Interest in process improvement and leveraging AI where possible
• Open to learning and developing within a fast-growing FinTech

Responsibilities

• Own daily banking reconciliations across group accounts and currencies
• Process and reconcile multi-currency transactions
• Produce monthly sales invoices and reconcile to revenue data
• Act as first point of contact for finance queries and root-cause analysis
• Manage accounts payable/receivable across multiple entities
• Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Prepare month-end journals with supporting schedules
• Support internal/external audits with organized documentation
• Contribute to finance process improvements and AI-enabled workflows
