Candy Kittens invites applications for a 12-month Finance Assistant placement at The Sweet Factory, Marylebone. The role supports transactional finance activity across the Group, including accounts payable, credit control, and expense administration.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates or recent graduates with a finance/business/maths background, strong numeracy, and keen attention to detail. The position is hybrid with a friendly, fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in finance, business or maths.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Support end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle from receipt to posting in accounting software.
• Collaborate with the Candy Kittens team to obtain timely approvals to meet monthly deadlines.
• Initiate Accounts Receivable credit notes with correct coding, VAT treatment and audit trails.
• Manage expenses end-to-end, ensuring timely submission and policy-compliant approval.
• Contribute to revenue completeness from EDI processing through to collections and credit control.
• Take ownership of bank reconciliations and resolve unreconciled items.
