Job summary

Tate is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Direct Payments Bank Account to Prepaid Card Transition Project and broader Adult Care Services Income duties in Stevenage. The role involves processing incoming post, managing financial documentation, and collaborating with partner teams while adapting to changing priorities.

The successful candidate will have finance experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance with strong attention to detail.
• Proven numerical ability and accuracy in handling data.
• Experience using case management systems to track work.
• Proficient in Excel for data handling and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload.
• Support direct payment monitoring processes.
• Coordinate with Operational Teams, Brokerage, Client Financial Services and Debt Recovery teams.
• Participate in data cleansing of existing client accounts.
• Liaise with care providers, internal teams and external organisations.
• Maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
