Job summary

Tapestry Learning Partnership is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Central Finance team and schools, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, promptly, and in compliance with regulations.

Key duties include purchase and sales ledgers, payments and payroll processing, month-end, system support, audits, and adherence to safeguarding and confidentiality policies within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Purchase & Sales Ledger: Process purchase invoices, raise orders, handle supplier queries, raise sales invoices and support credit control, maintain supplier list and database.
• Payments, Claims & Payroll: Prepare and run BACS, process expenses and overtime claims, import payroll data.
• Financial Operations & Month-End: Post cashbook, reconcile accounts, process accruals/prepayments, assist VAT returns.
• Systems, Training & Support: Support finance system users and provide PO guidance.
• Audit & Compliance: Assist audits and ensure compliance with financial policies, contribute to controls improvement.
• Other Duties: Undertake tasks as requested by senior finance leaders.
