Job summary

The Bishop Fraser Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to support school-level financial operations and work with the Trust Finance Lead and central finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 37-hour week, with annual leave and development opportunities through CPD and mentoring, plus a focus on confidentiality and high-quality service to the Trust’s financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or accounting.
• Confident in managing financial records and data accuracy.
• Excellent communicator with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Able to identify issues and contribute to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, customer-focused financial support in accordance with the Academies Financial Handbook and MAT policies.
