We have an opportunity for a Finance Officer – Rent and Property to join our Finance - Rent and Property team.

This is a fixed-term position until April 2026, based in our offices in Basingstoke with flexible remote working options.

The starting salary ranges from £26,300 to £32,000, depending on experience.

The Role:

Our Finance - Rent and Property team provides professional guidance and support to optimize cost effectiveness across the business. Our Finance Officers play a vital role in delivering financial housing support services to a large stakeholder base within SNG.

Responsibilities include:

• Adding new development, shared ownership, and market rented properties onto the housing system/database accurately and promptly.
• Updating housing systems with rent or service charge adjustments.
• Handling queries from stakeholders, residents, and internal departments via various channels, ensuring resolution.
• Liaising with Local Authorities regarding current rent-related charges.

What we're looking for:

Experience in a similar role involving asset and finance data input or updates is preferred, though housing experience is not essential.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Strong IT skills with experience using various databases.
• A logical and organized approach to workload.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
