• Mindestens 12 Monate Erfahrung im Finanz- oder Rechnungswesen.
• Starke Kenntnisse der Prozesse im Kreditorenbereich.

Responsibilities

Part-time: 1215 hours per week

Starting salary: £25,253 per annum (pro rata)

Permanent contract

Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join their Central Team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day operations of their finance function, focusing on purchase ledger and payments.

Their Central Team provides essential support across their services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation making a real difference across Sussex.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Inputting invoice data and maintaining accurate financial records in Xero
• Setting up and reconciling supplier payments
• Liaising with service managers for approvals and managing queries with suppliers
• Reconciling PayPal, Soldo and petty cash transactions
• Supporting utility and expenditure tracking
• Providing cover for the Sales Ledger Finance Officer as needed
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To Demonstrate

• At least 12 months' experience in a finance or accounting function
• Strong working knowledge of purchase ledger processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and spreadsheets
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting a busy team
