You will support the Headteacher and leadership team with day-to-day finance, budgets, payroll assistance and supplier invoice processing, ensuring confidential information is handled correctly and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounts or school administration.
• Strong numerical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Experience with Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day school finance administration: invoices, PO, payments and receipts.
• Process income and expenditure and maintain records.
• Monitor budgets and escalate discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reports, forecasts and budgets for the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
• Process supplier invoices and respond to supplier queries.
• Maintain records of purchases, commitments and outstanding payments.
• Support payroll and staff-related financial administration.
• Assist with banking, reconciliations and routine controls.
• Manage trip, club and activity payments.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, suppliers and external organisations.
• Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding compliance.
