Job summary

Westbase Technology Ltd is seeking a Finance Officer to support day-to-day finance operations across our multi-entity group spanning the UK, Europe and international markets. You’ll handle purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, reconciliations, and month-end close, with a clear path to a Junior Finance Business Partner role for the right candidate.

You’ll use NetSuite and Xero daily, contribute to dashboards, and engage in process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Finance Officer/Accounts Officer role
• AAT qualification or actively studying
• Highly proficient in Excel with advanced functions
• Experience with cloud accounting systems (NetSuite/Xero) preferred

Responsibilities

• Support daily finance activities across the group
• Manage purchase and sales ledger and credit control
• Process vendor bills and support weekly payment run
• Prepare and post journals in NetSuite
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations across currencies
• Assist with VAT return preparation UK/Europe
• Contribute to month-end close and reporting
• Utilise NetSuite and Xero daily; support dashboards and reviews
• Support CFO and Finance Controller with ad hoc reporting
