Job summary

Tavistock Council is seeking an experienced accounts professional to cover all aspects of financial functions, including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cashbook, Payroll and month-end reporting. The role is based in Tavistock with a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, and offers excellent terms of service along with the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Experienced accounts professional.
• Knowledge of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cashbook, Payroll and month end reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Cashbook duties.
• Manage payroll processing and monthly end reporting.
• Contribute to financial functions across the organisation.
