Job summary

Lymm High School in Warrington is seeking a proactive Finance Officer to join our administration team. The role requires experience in school finance, strong numeracy and literacy, and proficiency with Word and Excel, with knowledge of Xero advantageous.

You will contribute to budget monitoring, procurement, reporting and internal controls while prioritising your workload within term time hours (22.5 per week) plus two weeks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a finance role is essential, ideally within a school or educational setting.
• Experience of using Xero accounting software would be advantageous.
• Experience in Business / Financial management, report creation, business admin, procurement and budget monitoring.
• Experience of working within internal control frameworks.
• Experience or organising and prioritising own work load.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel use in an office environment.
