Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting have been invited to assist a long-standing client in Cornwall seeking an experienced Finance Officer on a permanent basis. The role concentrates on ensuring the accounts receivable function runs efficiently within a busy finance team.

You will lead invoicing, credit control, banking reconciliations and funding income administration. The ideal candidate has 12+ months general finance experience, with AAT qualification or equivalent experience, and strong Sage and MS

Qualifications

• 12+ months general finance experience.
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
• Proficient in Sage, MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable tasks including raising sales ledger invoices and related documentation.
• Perform credit control activities to monitor and manage customer balances.
• Handle banking and cash transactions and reconciliations.
• Administer third party funding income postings and reconciliations.
• Assist Finance Director and Management Accountant with ad-hoc finance projects as required.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the purchase ledger team as needed.
