Wigan & Leigh Hospice is seeking a Finance Officer to work with the Head of Finance, providing finance support across the hospice and helping maximise every penny raised. This full-time role (37 hours) runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with a strong focus on financial integrity and developing new systems.

Like all hospices, Wigan & Leigh Hospice is facing increasing financial challenges, as we have to raise £13,000 from our community every single day, just to keep our services running.
In your role as finance officer, you will work with the Head of Finance to provide finance support and advice to colleagues across the hospice, ensuring we make the most of every penny we raise.
Your attention to detail and technical expertise is essential to maintain high standards of financial integrity at the hospice.

Working Pattern
This is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm.

Employees pay a minimum contribution of 3% and can choose to pay more, while the hospice contributes 7%. Qualified clinical staff may remain in the NHS pension scheme, if eligible.
