Job summary

Curaleaf International is seeking a Finance Controls Analyst in the UK to join the Finance Team and strengthen our financial control framework. You will help maintain documentation, support audit readiness, and contribute to the design of new finance systems and processes across the organisation.

Working with the Finance and Business Controls Manager, you will execute control activities, verify effectiveness, and provide information to auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounts, or audit roles.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing management accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Clear, confident communication and discretion with confidential information.
• AAT Level 3 (or studying towards) required.
• Familiarity with SOX, financial controls, or audit processes (desirable).
• Experience with Auditboard/Blackline/Sage 200 or BC (desirable).
• AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for finance processes and controls.
• Execute monthly and quarterly control activities and retain supporting evidence.
• Monitor control deadlines and follow up with colleagues to ensure timely completion.
• Verify control effectiveness and record results.
• Log identified issues and track progress through to resolution.
• Provide information and documentation to auditors and the Group controls team.
• Propose improvements to processes and controls.
• Support colleagues across the business in understanding their control responsibilities.
• Deliver additional finance support as required.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in financial controls, audit, and management accounting within a growing international organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring our financial controls are applied consistently, documented clearly, and fully auditready. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of new finance systems and processes.

You will work closely with the Finance and Business Controls Manager to maintain the integrity of our financial control framework. This is an individual contributor role with no line management responsibilities; you will collaborate with colleagues across the UK and Curaleaf International.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, uptodate documentation for finance processes and controls

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or audit role
• Confident user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience supporting the preparation of management accounts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Clear, confident communication style
• Discreet and responsible with confidential information
• AAT Level 3 (or equivalent), or currently studying towards this qualification
