A leading council is seeking a Finance Officer to supervise a team within the Right to Buy Scheme. This role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, providing training, and managing customer inquiries. As a Finance Officer, you’ll support colleagues, clients, and their representatives in the Right to Buy Scheme, including pre-sale and post-sale services.
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer who can supervise a team providing a comprehensive Council House Sales Scheme, advising customers exercising their Right to Buy, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure legislation compliance.
The main goal is to ensure the Council complies with statutory requirements related to Right to Buy applications.

As a Finance Officer, you will:
You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to continuous improvement within our Income Management team. The role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting colleagues and customers.
You will supervise a team delivering a comprehensive Council House Sales Service, assisting with Leasehold Management where necessary.
A strong customer focus and the ability to manage workloads independently are essential.
