Job description

We are now looking for a Finance Officer to play a key role in supporting our financial operations. If you're detail-focused, proactive, and confident working within financial systems and processes, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inputting financial data, including client and supplier details, staff expenses and costs, via WorkflowMax and Xero.
  • Supporting the efficient and timely raising of invoices, purchase orders, and supplier bills.
  • Managing supplier and subcontractor information.
  • Assisting with income and expenditure reconciliation in Xero.
  • Supporting credit control activities and fixed asset management.
  • Producing routine financial data reports for our Leadership Team and parent company, RSK Group.
  • Supporting external audit preparations.
  • Assisting with internal compliance activities, including ISO management systems, and providing support across general office operations where needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a finance role with exposure to a range of transactional finance activities.
  • Confidence using Xero (or similar finance systems) and ideally WorkflowMax.
  • Detail-orientated with strong numeracy, analytical and data-handling skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • A strong communicator with experience handling sensitive information professionally.
  • Competent with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.
  • An interest in developing skills in compliance, marketing, training support or wider business operations.
