Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with a prominent organisation in their search for a Finance & Office Manager , based in Edinburgh. This role offers a blend of operational finance and administrative responsibilities, with the opportunity to collaborate closely with the senior leadership team. The position comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 to £27,000.

The Opportunity
Our client has experienced significant growth and diversification in recent years, expanding into various industries. In this role, you will primarily oversee the operational finance, which includes Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), while reporting to the finance team of the parent company. Additionally, you will manage a range of administrative tasks as required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a stable and growing organisation that provides diverse responsibilities. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling finance and non-finance-related queries
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
  • Processing payroll
  • Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses
  • General office administration

Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, particularly within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Proficiency in Excel and finance systems is essential.
