Job summary

The National Crime Agency is seeking a Finance Manager to lead Financial Business Partnering, Financial Control and Strategic Finance, based at multiple locations including Belfast. The role supports senior management with financial planning, reporting and governance, with a Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £1,000 per annum for eligible staff.

Contract types include Permanent, Loan, and Secondment; working patterns include full time, part time, flexible working and job share.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide first line financial management within a public sector environment.
• Experience delivering management reports to audit standard and governance requirements.
• Ability to develop budgets and savings proposals and advise senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely financial and management reports.
• Support budget holders in developing budgets and savings.
• Lead financial awareness and governance across the business area.
• Coach and develop staff within Finance Business Partnering, Financial Control or Strategic Finance.
