Job summary

Vectis Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager to join one of its major UK operations. You will oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting, and oversee the preparation of detailed forecasts and management accounts.

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will lead the finance team, provide strategic financial advice to senior management, monitor cost controls, and drive continuous improvements of financial systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or extensive equivalent experience in financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting for the company.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team.
• Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cost controls measures to enhance profitability.
• Prepare and present monthly and year end accounts.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to drive business performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize financial processes and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Lead continuous improvements of financial systems and processes.
