Job summary

Stuart Harris Recruitment is recruiting a Finance Manager for an established UK business with a site near the Penrith area in Cumbria. The role is full-time and office-based, Monday to Friday, and focuses on day-to-day financial operations at the site while supporting management.

Key duties include financial reporting, purchase ledger, supplier and customer reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, VAT and HMRC returns, payroll processing and monthly management accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong ledger, bookkeeping and accounting skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting, statutory returns and government returns are accurate.
• Purchase ledger duties - process supplier invoices and payments.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and customer accounts.
• Credit control duties and reporting; cash forecast.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analyses.
• Process monthly payroll and HMRC returns.
