Morrisons is seeking a senior procurement/finance partner to review performance within our Procurement, Services and Pharmacy function in Bradford. You will work with senior business leaders, translating data into actionable insights to influence strategic decisions and EBITDA outcomes.

You will build networks, drive financial performance, and own store performance insight to shape estate strategies in a fast-paced environment.

More about the role

To review performance within our Procurement, Services and Pharmacy function, with the ambition of improving EBITDA. You will partner Senior business leaders and ensure they are well-informed about performance in their respective business areas at a granular level. This role influences and informs strategic decisions by utilizing insight and analysis, applied through business partnering, to translate data into actionable insights for operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Act as a true commercial partner to our business leaders , driving financial performance.
• Building Strong Networks: Collaborate daily with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Own the Numbers: Take charge of store performance insight and analysis. Play a key role in shaping individual store strategies to influence the future of our Estate.

More about you

Knowledge

• A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems
• Significant commercial and financial understanding

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex numbers into actionable insights for operational leaders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment.

Experience

• Experience delivering (self and team) under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
