Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager for the Legal Entity & Securitisation team, based in Edinburgh and Newport. The role offers hybrid working with two days on site and focuses on financial control, statutory reporting and month-end activities.

You will partner with Retail Finance, Treasury and external reporting, manage deadlines, and drive process improvements while developing others.

Qualifications

Qualified finance professional with an accounting qualification.
Experience in financial services or statutory reporting.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Delivery-driven with high-quality work.
Collaborative reporting and analysis.
Self-starter with good attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Finance Systems or willingness to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

Support accurate and timely financial control and reporting for Retail Securitisation entities.
Prepare and review statutory financial statements with working papers.
Coordinate audits and respond to auditor queries.
Complete month-end controls and reconciliations.
Identify issues and escalate promptly.
Ensure data for Group reporting requirements is ready.
Maintain strong control evidence and SAO compliance.
Collaborate with Retail Finance, Treasury, External Reporting, and auditors.
