Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager for the Legal Entity & Securitisation team in a hybrid role across Edinburgh & Newport. You will support financial control, statutory reporting, and month-end processes, with close collaboration across Retail Finance, Treasury and external auditors.

The role requires an accounting qualification and strong analytical skills, with a focus on improving processes and delivering quality reporting at pace.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with accounting qualification.
• Experience in statutory reporting or financial controls.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate financial control and reporting of Retail Securitisation entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and directors’ reporting materials.
• Coordinate audit deliverables and respond to auditor queries.
• Complete month-end controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes.
