Dunelm is seeking a Property & Format Finance Manager to act as the primary finance partner for store estate investments, cost control and performance reviews. You’ll shape business cases, challenge assumptions and drive profitable growth across the portfolio.

You’ll own end‑to‑end financial performance, deliver regular forecasts, partner with Property, Format, Retail and Finance teams, and coach the finance team to deliver robust insights and tangible returns.

• Proven track record evaluating investment opportunities and translating analysis into commercial recommendations.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders with clear, data‑driven insights.
• Strong modelling, governance, and reporting capabilities to support decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Property and Format teams, building trusted relationships and providing commercial insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve store profitability, investment returns and cost efficiency.
• Support profitable growth across the store estate, focusing on openings and refits.
• Lead financial appraisal of new store, refit, and other property investments, assessing costs, benefits, risks, payback and returns.
• Provide robust challenge to investment proposals and help stakeholders choose between options.
• Lead post-implementation reviews, compare results with business cases, and drive action to improve returns.
• Improve modelling, governance, and the processes used to appraise payback and investment performance.
• Track investment spend, benefits and returns against assumptions throughout the lifecycle.
• Undertake quarterly reviews of total store profitability and drive actions across outlier stores.
• Own end-to-end financial view of property costs and provide regular, robust forecast updates.
• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partner for Property & Store Controllables.
