Job summary

Redline Group represents a global technology business seeking a Finance Manager - Projects to join its Southampton team on a permanent basis. The role provides financial leadership across large-scale, long-term projects and partners with programme management, commercial and operations to ensure strong governance and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with experience in aerospace/defence or complex project-driven environments, strong WIP and contract

Qualifications

• Professional finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, reporting and analysis across UK project portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with contractual financial terms, reporting, pricing and milestones.
• Oversee contract and project accounting including WIP recognition and valuation.
• Monitor project financial performance, risks and opportunities; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with programme managers, commercial and operations for forecasting and cost control.
• Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate financial results.
• Support bids and pricing models to maintain competitiveness and viability.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls and discipline.
• Act as contact for auditors on contract-related matters.
