Job summary

Tate & Lyle Sugars is seeking a Finance Manager, Plant Controller for Thames Refinery to act as the senior finance business partner, ensuring integrity of reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and leading cost control initiatives at a multi-million euro cost base.

The role requires effective engagement with the General Manager and senior stakeholders, strong financial controls, and leadership of a small finance team to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Strong Excel use, SAP/SAC and data visualization.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, cost base management and reporting for the Thames Refinery.
• Lead reforecasting, budgeting and model development with leadership.
• Drive cost control and efficiency improvements across plant operations.
• Develop controls and respond to audits; mentor staff.
