The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee daily finance operations, supporting sustained growth over the next two years and beyond. The goal is to establish a highly efficient, professional finance function.

This role currently involves managing tasks handled by a few operations team members and a part-time bookkeeper. You will take on these responsibilities and work to improve current processes. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the part-time Finance Director consultant.

Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of Management Accounts
  2. Manage Accounts Receivable, Payables, and bank reconciliations
  3. Collaborate with Brand, Sales, and Operations teams
  4. Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in financial data
  5. Enhance current processes for efficiency and automation
  6. Manage the balance sheet and cash flows
  7. Oversee payroll and reconciliations

The Finance Manager will also handle ad-hoc tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Candidate Profile
  • Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, with a sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Enthusiastic about learning and process improvement
  • Team player
  • Experience with Xero is a plus
  • Passionate about people and culture, willing to work hard with the team
