Job summary

Une startup mobile de haut niveau recherche un Finance Director à temps partiel pour diriger leur fonction financière. Le candidat idéal sera un comptable agréé, doté d'une forte capacité d'analyse et d'expérience dans des environnements à forte croissance. Le rôle impliquera de façonner la finance de l'entreprise et de travailler étroitement avec les équipes BI et Data pour transformer les données en insights commerciaux.

Qualifications

• Expérience en environnement à forte croissance, de préférence dans un cadre SaaS/D2C.
• Modélisation financière avancée (scénario, sensibilité, états financiers intégrés).
• Capacité à expliquer des informations financières complexes à des non-financiers.

Responsibilities

• Implémenter des processus et contrôles scalables.
• Diriger la fonction financière quotidienne, y compris la gestion mensuelle et les rapports annuels.
• Analyser et rapporter sur les KPI D2C et SaaS.

Part Time Finance Director – Mobile App

Remote (fortnightly London meetups)

3-4 days p/w

Talentedge have been exclusively engaged by a high-profile VC backed mobile app startup to identify their first permanent Finance Director, taking over the reins from an experienced Fractional.

Having worked with the Chief of Staff for a number of years across two high growth startups & made many successful placements with them along the way, it’s fair to say that we know them well.

The business is relatively early stage, pushing towards profitability and has the backing of Top Tier global VCs.

As Finance Director (#1), you will have the opportunity to shape the way that finance looks, integrating as much as possible with in-house BI & Data teams. You’ll be expected to drive forward decision making and turn data generated across the business into commercial insights.

If you are curious and inquisitive by nature, with strong analytical and financial modelling skills, coupled with excellent business partnering capabilities, then we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities:

• Continue to implement scalable processes and controls
• Lead the day-to-day finance function, including all monthly management & annual statutory reporting
• Analyse, report on and track D2C & SaaS KPIs (financial and non-financial)
• Build various financial models to support business decision making
• Play a lead role on the creation and review of new business cases (for example a B2B play or launching into new geographies)
• Partner all functions across the business, with a particular focus on Product & Engineering + GTM

Profile:

• Qualified accountant with relevant PQE within a high growth environment (preferably VC backed SaaS / D2C with UK & US entities)
• Advanced financial modeller (scenario, sensitivity & 3-way integrated financial statements ideally)
• Curious mind-set
• Comfortable explaining complex financial information to non-financial people
