Job summary

Dnata is recruiting a Finance Manager at London Heathrow to oversee financial accounting, ensure timely month‑end and year‑end reporting, and drive process improvements. You will lead a team of three Financial Accountants and coordinate audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

The role sits in Central Functions and reports to the broader finance organisation. A qualified accountant with robust technical skills is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Significant experience in financial accounting in a complex organisation.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proven experience with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Experience coordinating statutory accounts and audits.
• Experience developing and leading a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month‑end close process to meet deadlines.
• Review and approve journals, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution.
• continuously improve month‑end processes for efficiency.
• Lead the year‑end process and statutory accounts preparation.
• Coordinate responses to internal and external audits.
• Serve as key contact for auditors on accounting matters.
• Manage and develop the Finance team of three accountants.
• Review quality and accuracy of team output.
