Job summary

Dnata is a leading global air and travel services provider delivering inflight catering and logistics across the UK. The Finance Manager oversees the financial accounting function, ensuring timely month-end and year-end reporting, and leads a team of three Financial Accountants.

Based at London Heathrow in the Central Functions department, the role aligns with accounting standards, policy compliance, and audits, driving continuous improvements in finance processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in financial accounting in a complex organisation.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proven experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Experience managing internal and external audit processes.
• Experience leading, developing and motivating a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review and approve journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues promptly.
• Improve month-end processes to increase efficiency and reduce timelines.
• Lead year-end financial accounting and statutory accounts prep.
• Coordinate audit responses with internal and external auditors.
• Be a key point of contact for auditors on accounting matters.
• Manage and develop a team of three Financial Accountants.
• Review the team’s work for quality and accuracy.
