Job summary

SINE Digital in London is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, oversee month-end close, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will line manage two Finance Assistants and work directly with the Finance Director to add structure and improvements across the finance operations.

The role suits a recently qualified finance professional with 3–4 years of media experience who thrives on ownership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• 3-4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in media or service-based businesses is a plus.
• Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills with proven reporting use.
• Comfort learning and using new finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Head the finance team and report to the Finance Director.
• Represent the finance function in internal meetings.
• Review and approve sales invoices and supplier purchase requests.
• Lead the month-end close process with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee project financial management including revenue recognition, accruals, and budgets.
• Line manage two Finance Assistants; provide coaching and development.
• Prepare reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and processes.
• Support financial operations and monthly/annual performance analysis.
• Contribute to recruitment and onboarding of team members.
