Job summary

Mamas & Papas Limited is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial accounting, maintain robust controls, and drive efficient processes. You will oversee ledgers, balance sheet, cash management and forecasting, with responsibility for statutory reporting and tax compliance.

The role focuses on developing the Financial Accounting and Payments & Transactions teams, improving controls, and partnering with senior stakeholders. Based at our Huddersfield HQ with hybrid working patterns.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA with post-qualification experience in financial control.
• Experience in statutory reporting and audit liaison.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Knowledge of treasury, cash-flow management and multi-entity tax compliance.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control including ledgers, balance sheet and monthly close.
• Manage cash flow, treasury policy and FX coverage.
• Own balance sheet budgeting, forecasting and KPI analysis.
• Oversee audits and statutory accounts preparation.
• Ensure VAT, tax compliance and payments timing.
