Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team supporting the Costa contract at Centre Point, Trafford Park. You'll work closely with operational leaders to provide clear financial reporting, meaningful performance insights and accurate management accounts to support day-to-day decision making.

You’re actively studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification, have strong Excel skills, and can build relationships across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Actively studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data and produce financial reports
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
• A positive, can-do approach with strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across the operation

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly cost reports, monthly management accounts and KPI reporting to support business performance
• Complete month-end activities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal financial controls and audit requirements
• Analyse financial results and provide commentary to help operational teams understand performance
• Build strong relationships with operational managers and support them with financial insight and reporting
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Senior Finance Manager and wider finance team
