Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to join the TJX operation in Crewe. This full-time, permanent role supports the Finance Manager with accurate financial reporting, controls and commercial insight to operational teams.

Based in Crewe, you will produce management accounts, perform reconciliations and deliver analysis to drive performance, working closely with site leadership and customers to understand financial results and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant finance experience in a finance, management accounting or commercial finance environment.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles, financial controls and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate findings clearly.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems such as Oracle, Lucanet, Blackline or similar.
• Currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification or working towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly management accounts, ensuring financial reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with business and customer requirements
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, revenue reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GXO financial controls and reporting standards
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance commentary, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to enhance commercial and operational performance
• Support budget and forecast preparation, working closely with operational teams to improve financial planning accuracy and business performance
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders and customers, providing meaningful financial insight and challenge to support decision-making and continuous improvement
