Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for a challenging growth phase in Basingstoke. You will own day-to-day finance, produce timely management accounts and provide financial insights to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience, with strong budgeting, forecasting and cash flow skills, plus advanced Excel and the ability to work independently. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Experience as Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Monitor financial performance and analyse variances.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance processes.
• Support year-end activities, audits and VAT reporting.
• Provide commercial financial analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Support, mentor and oversee members of the finance team.
