Job summary

Myerscough College is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance function and shape the college's financial strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance & HR, you will deliver accurate financial services, work with senior leaders, and drive value-for-money across the college.

The role offers hybrid working (campus and remote) with a focus on leadership, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support education and growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional credential.
• Proven experience leading a finance function and teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the Finance function.
• Develop a customer-focused Finance team and promote accountability.
• Oversee management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statutory financial statements and regulatory returns.
• Lead the annual budget-setting process and assist with medium/long-term financial planning.
