Trial Balance is seeking a Finance Manager for a hybrid role based in the UK, with a salary of £35-40,000 and potential future share options. The candidate will manage day-to-day financial controls, work with directors and department heads, and drive financial processes across the business.

The ideal candidate has end-to-end accounting experience, AAT qualification, strong IT skills including MS Excel, and a proactive approach to team leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day accounting operations.
• Ability to produce management accounts with commentary.
• Strong IT aptitude and proficiency with MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
• Supervise and mentor a small team.
• Produce management accounts with commentary for directors.
• Handle bank reconciliations, cashflow, VAT, payroll, and year-end routines.
