Job summary

OSL Cutting Technologies, a Sheffield-based engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls. You will work with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders to drive efficiencies and improvements across processes and systems.

Role involves overseeing month-end close, management accounts, audits, and commercial partnership with operations. On-site role with potential flexibility, based in Sheffield.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or stock-based businesses.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Strong business partnering skills with non-financial stakeholders.
• Good IT/ERP systems knowledge.
• Inventory accounting experience.
• Cashflow management experience.
• Inquisitive with strong commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
• Provide variance analysis and budget/forecast commentary.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
• Lead year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors.
• Coach and mentor the finance team; lead KPI monitoring.
