Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. in London seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join the EMEA Accounting team. The role supports launches of new business initiatives and automation of core processes, partnering with operational accounting, tax and business finance, and driving strategic solutions for rapid growth.

You will lead cross-functional projects, design scalable month-end processes, and ensure robust financial reporting and controls across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; or Bachelor's with quantitative experience
Experience in tax, finance or related analytical field
Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
Experience applying KPIs to analyses
Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets
Experience creating automation and process improvements
Experience in continuous improvement to scale controllership

Responsibilities

Lead accounting project support for new product designs and financial system setups
Deliver cross-functional projects with clear risk communication and resolution
Execute large-scale process improvements for new launches and existing processes
Develop and transition new month-end processes including GL close and reconciliations
Maintain strong communication with global accounting teams
Monitor automation quality of accounting entries and reporting controls
Work in fast-paced environment across multiple launches
Apply accounting expertise to include financial elements in new launches
Demonstrate understanding of computing system interactions and internal controls
