Job summary

Axon Moore is recruiting a Finance Manager for a high-growth SME just outside Manchester City Centre. You will own a broad, commercially focused finance function and work with senior leadership to deliver high-quality reporting and FP&A insights.

The role offers exposure to both technical accounting and strategic business partnering, with a focus on process improvement and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate management accounts and financial reporting.
• Support statutory accounts and external audits.
• Maintain accounting records and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce financial analysis, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide commercial insight for strategic decisions.
• Partner with senior leadership and operations teams.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and processes.
• Lead finance projects and continuous improvements.
