Job summary

Axon Moore are partnering with a high-profile consumer business in Manchester to recruit a Senior Finance Manager. The role leads a finance team, shapes reporting across multiple entities and drives transformation across the reporting hub.

You will oversee month-end, balance sheet controls and P&L management while partnering with commercial finance and IT to deliver robust controls and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong track record of leading finance teams.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team to create a high-performing culture.
• Own the month-end close, ensure timely reporting.
• Oversee divisional P&Ls, balance sheets, accruals and provisions.
• Maintain UK GAAP-compliant financial reporting controls.
• Drive automation and standardisation of finance processes.
• Partner with Commercial Finance, Group Finance, IT and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and insight to senior stakeholders.
