Job summary

Howden is seeking a Finance Manager - Europe to join our European Regional Finance team. You will support financial reporting, planning and control across 16 countries and ~40 business units, partnering with regional leaders and global finance teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with up to two years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capabilities.
• Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Awareness of financial controls and a controlled environment.
• Experience with Power BI or reporting systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial reporting cycle across the European region.
• Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables.
• Prepare and analyse regional consolidated financial information and reports.
• Partner with BU finance teams to understand performance and identify improvements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights into strategic areas.
• Support the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting.
• Assist with SOX, governance and internal control activities.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and Corporate Finance.
• Contribute to finance integration and transformation related to the Baker Hughes acquisition.
• Support working capital management, capex, and revenue recognition efforts.
