Amazon UK is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our EMEA Accounting team in London. The role focuses on supporting launches of new global initiatives and automating underlying processes, partnering with tax, business finance, and accounting teams to design and train on launch methodologies and new tools.

The ideal candidate will be strategic, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of delivering complex projects with solid governance and reporting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Economics or related field.
• Experience in tax, finance or related analytical field.
• Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
• Experience applying KPIs to analyses.
• Experience building financial and operational reports/datasets.
• Experience creating automation and process improvements.
• Experience in continuous improvement projects to scale controllership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead accounting project support for new product designs and financial system setups.
• Deliver complex cross-functional projects with risk reporting and resolution recommendations.
• Execute large-scale process improvements for new launches and existing processes.
• Develop and transition new month-end processes including GL close and reconciliations.
• Establish strong communication with global accounting teams.
• Monitor and ensure quality of automated accounting entries and reporting.
• Work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple launches.
• Apply finance expertise to incorporate reporting elements into launches.
• Demonstrate understanding of computing system interactions and internal controls.
